Welcome Friends,

to the The Franciscan Pottery Shelf.

This website was created by two Franciscan collectors who wished to share their collections as well as information regarding Gladding McBean & Franciscan. It is our goal to make this website informative, easy to follow and fun.

The information gathered and posted here is a result of combined years of collecting experience, some research, help from friends and a lot of intuition.

On this site, we aren't going to waste your time with fancy graphics, animation or music. It is all about the beauty and history of our favorite American Pottery, Gladding McBean - Franciscan.

Please feel free to email us with any of your thoughts regarding this website or the information provided, and keep checking in, since we hope the site will continue to grow as more American treasures, information and time become available.
